We were wanting to hold an Acting workshop in January at the end of school holidays. Due to a lack of interest we had to cancel this workshop. I would like to see if we could run this in term 1 on Saturday afternoon. Please contact me for a show of interest in this workshop.

After 7 months of training and 5 days of exams. We have now finished our exams for 2019. I am so proud of all students and their preparation leading up to the exams were wonderful. Thank you parents without your support your children would not get these experiences and have the option to get feedback on the dancing with a written report. These reports will be given out once received. This can take unto 6 weeks.
A big thank you to our teaching staff ensuring all students knew the exam produces and performed with excellent knowledge.
Now time to relax and enjoy the end of the year preparing for our end of year show. Students taking 2 classical classes per week will still be using one class for classical technique and strengthening. The other class will be focused on concert performance.
From their first exam test 1 Ballet to their last Advanced.

Our students do it all
Mia Gillespie has been training for months to challenge herself to a 48km trail walk. This was a kokoda Trail walk which very gruelling on the body. She started on Saturday morning at 11am and finished at11.15pm just over 12hours of walking. These students just amazing me their strength and determination to push through when the body is exhausted is a credit to their character. I do believe Dance has helped to build this in each student and will only help them to achieve great things in the future.
ATOD Australasian Scholarships were held this year in Brisbane at QUT Gardens Point Theatre. We had 5 students place in top 4 in Qld to go on to represent the state. All students did an open Class on Friday and then performed their solo routines on stage at Gardens point on Saturday & Sunday. I am very proud of these students for their hard work and commitment and they certainly did Footworks and Qld proud.

Finally it came to the end performing Friday and Saturday both matinee and evening shows. This has been a huge commitment which took on herself.
